撕开封口，看着火漆上的蜘蛛在她的手中彻底被撕裂，女孩的眼神里闪过一丝险恶的快意。
漆黑的信纸之上，血红的字迹书写着布置给她的任务。一个精巧的玻璃小瓶滚落出来，女孩紧紧将它握在手中，贴在最贴近心脏的位置，感受着那激越的鼓动。
——终于。
维罗妮卡走过一个正在与人交谈的老者身边，将黑色的信封放在他的大衣口袋里，同样没有任何人注意到。直到她的身影彻底从拐角消失，对方才摸到了自己口袋里的信封。
在展开信纸的瞬间，老者的眼底迸发出狂热的喜悦。
——开始了吗？！
维罗妮卡坐在空无一人的监控室里，显示屏蓝色调的光映在她琥珀色的眼眸里，将眼眸映照成奇诡的颜色。她拿出一瓶药剂，一片一片掰碎，不用水便生吞下去。
她的表情无比沉静。安宁得如同漆黑的岩石。
即使是看到侠客和小滴走进博物馆时，也是这样的。
看着他们从前台的手里接过代表着入馆许可的蔷薇徽章时，维罗妮卡终于露出了一丝微笑。
“快看呀，珂赛特。”她笑着抚上自己的眼角，“这是我献给你的复仇剧啊。”
